Photovoltaic systems commissioned

3,920 m² or half a football field: that's the size of the two photovoltaic plants we commissioned this week at our locations in Wels and Linz.

With these plants, we are able to save 151 tonnes of CO2 per year and thus generate 690 megawatt hours of electricity per year (MWh/a). For comparison: a two-person household needs about 3.5 MWh per year. BIS consumes more than 80% of the generated energy itself, the rest is fed into the grid.
